The results of taking "Api-Norm" in 32 patients with chronic prostatitis aged from 27 to 52 years who applied to the Department of Sexopathology and Andrology of the State University "Institute of Urology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine" were analyzed. Of them, 17 (53.1%) suffered from chronic calculous prostatitis with pronounced pain syndrome and pollakiuria. In 6 (18.7%) patients, chronic abacterial prostatitis (hereinafter: CAH) was combined with stage I benign prostatic hyperplasia and was manifested by both pain syndrome and nocturia. In these patients, the volume of the prostate gland according to the ultrasound examination did not exceed 40 cm, and the maximum volumetric rate of urination was 10.5 + 1.7 ml / sec. In 9 (28.1%) patients HAP was manifested by chronic pelvic pain syndrome.

All 32 patients with HAP used rectal suppositories "Api-Norm" once a night for 10 days.

From the annotation to the candles, it is known that the composition of "Api-Norm" includes extract of propolis, black poplar, comfrey, hypericum. "Api-Norm" has a combined prophylactic effect (anti-inflammatory, adaptogenic, anti-infective, antispasmodic). "Api-Norm" is compatible with other preventive and therapeutic drugs.

"Api-Norm" is recommended for inflammatory diseases of the prostate gland, prostate adenoma, pyelonephritis, cystitis, urethritis and other diseases.

Evaluation of the effectiveness of the use of "Api-Norm" was carried out 10 days after the end of the administration, both according to the subjective feelings of the patients and according to the results of an objective examination (ultrasound of the prostate gland, uroflowmetry, leukocyte reaction of the prostate secretion).< /p>

Out of 32 patients suffering from abacterial prostatitis, 29 (90.6%) positively evaluated the results of using "Api-Norm". Out of 17 patients suffering from chronic calculous prostatitis, 15 noted a significant decrease in the severity of pain and dysuria. In 5 out of 6 patients with HAP and BPH I degree. a decrease in the frequency of urination at night and a significant increase in the maximum rate of urination from 10.5 + 1.7 ml / sec to 16.7-0.9 ml / sec were noted, while the volume of the prostate gland did not decrease reliably.

Positive dynamics were also noted in all 6 patients with chronic pelvic pain syndrome. However, it was more pronounced during the entire treatment period and the condition of 5 patients at the time of evaluation of the results practically returned to the initial level.

The use of "Api-Norm" candles was not accompanied by side effects. None of the 32 patients refused the recommended candles.
